Our biggest mistake was moving into a place where you rent the ground under your home. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere and try to find a place where you own the ground under your home. So we had to get an internet based alarm for my Mom, and with spotty internet that was not my first choice. We had to get rid of our landline telephone as Century Link could no longer fix the wiring. And for those of us with existing service when it goes out they will no longer repair it. That means no new park resident will be able to get a telephone or internet as Century Link is the only company to service the park. I called the owner as Century Link informed me that within a few months due to the numerous and ongoing legal battles with the park owner over substandard wiring left on the rocks (instead of being buried in conduit) they will no longer install nor service the park. It seems like they raise the rent and take things away they 'used' to do for the residents.
